Solutions Resource joins PSIA US Roadshow
Solutions Resource joins the upcoming PSIA road show to be held in July at the United States together with 17 other IT companies.The traffic undertaking will start to boot in Los Angeles, California on July 17, and the last stop will be at the World BPO Forum in New Jersey scheduled on July 28 and 29. The forum is considered the largest outsourcing summit in the world attended by major industries in the US.
The objective behind the US road shows is to promote the image of the Philippines in the international IT and software development scene. The road show will mediate local to international alliance of business in the same industry crowd in the United States.
We decided to join the road show to achieve industry company recognition, brand exposure and promote awareness for the different IT products and services that we offer. Also to show that we have the ability to provide innovative and cost-effective Open Source Java EE solutions within the defined scope and time constraints through our onsite/offshore outsourcing model.

Member companies of the Philippine Software Industry Association set out on a US-bound trade mission from the 16th up to the end of July. The PSIA US Road show, an initiative of the association and the US offices of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, aims to forge partnerships between Filipino software companies and US -companies, IT associations and Filipino-American professionals in the software field.
The Philippine delegation attended networking sessions, IT for a one-on-one meetings with various business and IT organizations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. The road show culminated in a presentation of the Philippine Software Industry story at the world BPO forum in New Jersey on July 28-29 and a grand reception at the Philippine center in New York on the 29th. Also held in New York last July 29th was the launch of access US Philippine program, a marketing initiative to bring Philippine providers to the boardrooms of US global sourcing decisions makers, sponsored by the BPO Council, Lisnagol Ventures and the outsourcing Institute.
“This is PSIA’s first major international marketing event. It is also a great way to celebrate the association’s 20th year anniversary by showcasing the capabilities and achievements of the Philippine software industry on the global platform such as the world BPO Forum. This road show is the launched pad for our story boldly themed ‘The Philippines—the missing piece in your global sourcing Strategy’, which we hope to bring world wide after this North American stint.” Says Beng Coronel, PSIA President.
